I recently cleaned this NEFF Slide & Hide oven, I also removed and split the door to clean the 3 sheets of glass.

I charge extra for stripping down the slide & hide doors because they are easily damaged and don’t always behave! For example, the left-hand mechanism would not stay in place causing it to spring back to its closed position, a common issue so I spent time correcting this, resulting in the door operating as intended.

I recently cleaned a pair NEFF Slide & Hide ovens, they were of the worst I had ever seen! But to be fair, the customer is an enthusiastic amateur cook and as such, uses them every day for baking and roasting! She had a pair of them, one with the steamer function, and both were in a similar condition. She also had a Neff microwave combi to be cleaned too. This particular challenge took a full day (8hrs without a lunch break) to complete to a high standard.

The telescopic tray rails had ceased because of contamination, they work perfectly well after a jolly good clean!

You may notice the chrome racks and side supports are not chrome but a dull copper; this is because the self-clean function was started while the chrome components were still inside! They MUST be removed as the high temperature destroys the chrome electroplating.

An oven of this condition has an understandable surcharge of £25 extra to cover the extra time and specialist solutions.
