Foggy Glass Doors

Rangemaster glass doors have a very annoying habit: they fog up! I guess that it may have something to do with the insulation releasing tiny amounts of moisture!

Removing the fog involves removing the door and stripping the sealed double-glazed unit apart.

The annoying part of cleaning the fog is that it always returns!

I charge £10 per door for the extra time invoved.

Cleaning Ranges with Paint Finishes

Rangemaster paint finish

Rangemaster, Aga and some other brands often have a beautiful paint finish; cleaning this quality finish differs greatly from cleaning a standard oven finish.

It may seem obvious, but using any kind of scourer, even soft scourers or abrasive pastes to remove grease, will scratch the quality paint finish.

My answer is to use a professional, commercial degreasing spray with a soft microfibre cloth that breaks down and removes the grease.

The catch 22 is that this solution is too aggressive on the control panel, as it would remove the white graphics, so I employ another specialised product.
